SELF-CONFRONTATION COURSE
We live in a world where relationships of all kinds, whether family, friends, marriage, church misunderstandings and our relationship with the Lord can falter or fail. There is hope for all of these relationships no matter how bad they may seem at this moment.
The Word of God is where true hope can be found for all relationship difficulties. Too many times Christians have been lured into thinking that the Bible is either not relevant or is too simple for the so-called “complex” problems of today’s society.
Jesus taught in simple terms: “Love God and love your neighbor as yourself.” “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.” “Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” The great fallacy is in thinking that simple is somehow superficial.
Nothing could be further from the truth. God’s Word, though simply stated, is also much more profound than the world’s philosophies. The more we take Him at His word, the more we see how true this is.
In early October we will be starting another round of “Self-Confrontation.” It is a course* designed to help us dig deep into scripture to find answers to all relationship difficulties.
One recent student said the course was “how to have peace, joy and contentment in your life, and how to help others do the same.”
