Join us for Passover!

Gather together with us Wednesday, April 13 at 6:00 PM for our annual Church Family Passover meal.

The Passover meal (also called a Seder) is a time for us to come together as a church family to honor the Passover Lamb, our Lord Jesus Christ.

During this happy and unique family service, we remember the salvation of the Jews from Egypt, the perseverance of our Lord Jesus Christ as He gave His life in atonement for our sin.

What is the Passover?

The Passover Seder is a ritual performed by Jews, with family and friends, as they retell the story of the Exodus – when the Israelites were liberated from slavery in Egypt. The Passover Seder is a beautiful way to educate people on that connection and build understanding between the two faiths.

We are passionate about keeping traditions alive for the purpose of educating our children, and the Passover Seder exemplifies that ideal.

Who will be leading the Seder?

Kari comes from Eastern European Jewish decent and was raised as a Jew, culturally and religiously. She became a Messianic Jew three years ago and thinks it is very important for Jews and Christians to support one another.

Cindi inherited a love for the Jewish people that was passed down through her family for generations. This will be the 7th Seder Kari and Cindi have led at First Baptist Los Lunas.
